CRDJ submits public comments on proposed rules, policies, and other government actions that affect racial and disability justice. Our comments draw on research, legal and policy analysis, community knowledge, and disability justice frameworks to identify potential harms, strengthen protections, and help shape more just and accessible public policy. Public comment is one way CRDJ works to make policymaking more accessible and accountable to the communities most affected by government decisions.

Public comments are preserved as they were originally submitted. Letters submitted before CRDJ’s name transition may identify CRDJ by its former name, the Center for Racial & Disability Justice, and may reflect its former institutional affiliation. Names, affiliations, staff titles, and other identifying information generally reflect the information in effect at the time of submission.
Public comments also reflect the rule, policy, or government action under consideration at the time they were submitted. The underlying proposal, proceeding, or policy may have changed since then.
